Isolated and encrypted

Is there automatic database backup?
Yes. Every database gets an automatic daily snapshot on every plan that includes databases (Standard and up): the most recent one is kept for up to 30 days and older ones for 7. You can also trigger manual snapshots on demand from the dashboard, kept for up to 30 days.
Is the connection encrypted?
Yes. Each instance has its own auto-generated SSL/TLS certificate. TLS/SSL connections are the default.
Can I access my database from outside Square Cloud?
Yes. Each instance exposes a public host and port with authentication. You can connect from any external application (local dashboard, BI tools, migration scripts).
