Click Connect account in the sidebar. An eight-character code appears and is copied for you.

Paste the code on the page that opens and approve. Never enter a code that someone sent you.

The sidebar confirms the account and loads your applications, databases and workspaces.

Every application at a glance
The sidebar opens with your plan and RAM, then a card for each application with its status, CPU and memory. Click a card for its details and right-click it for every action.

Deploy from the editor
Upload the project you're working on as a new application, send changes to one that already exists, or link a GitHub repository and deploy on every push.
Upload a new application
Pick the folder you have open, or any other. The extension zips it with your ignore rules and asks before anything leaves your machine.

The config file gets autocomplete, validation and quick fixes while you type, with nothing else to install. If you'd rather not write it, creating the application in the dashboard generates it.
Autocomplete
Every key, and the values of MAIN, RUNTIME, VERSION, MEMORY and AUTORESTART. MAIN suggests the source files in your project.
Errors as you type
Missing keys, values past their length limit, a MAIN file that doesn't exist and memory below the minimum are underlined right away.
Quick fixes
The light bulb turns an invalid RUNTIME, VERSION or AUTORESTART into a value Square Cloud accepts, in one click.

Logs, metrics, snapshots, variables, databases and workspaces, in each card's menu and in the command palette.
Logs and live stream
Fetch the latest logs when you need them, or follow a realtime stream in the Output panel. It reconnects on its own when the connection closes.
Metrics and traffic
CPU, RAM and network for the last 24 hours, on applications with 512 MB or more. Websites also get edge logs, errors, performance and a cache purge.
Snapshots
Download a snapshot before a risky change and restore an earlier one when you need it. Deleting an application takes a recovery snapshot first.
Environment variables
List, add, edit and remove variables without leaving the editor. Changes apply right away.
Databases
Create MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL and Redis databases, start or stop them and download the TLS certificate. The connection URL is copied once, when you create one.
Workspaces
See the workspaces you own or joined, with their members and applications. Create one, or copy your invite code so an owner can add you.
Clear when something goes wrong
Each problem gets its own state that says what happened and offers the action that helps, instead of a blank panel.
No connection
The sidebar says it can't reach Square Cloud and reconnects on its own once you're back online.
Too many requests
Refreshes pause with a countdown to the automatic retry. What's on screen stays, and your applications keep running.
Platform trouble
When Square Cloud reports a problem, a banner shows the message and a link to the status page.
Expired code
Each sign-in code lasts a few minutes. One click starts again, and nothing gets connected in the meantime.
